Something funny about the history of this pic is, i didn't mean for this pic to turn out this good. This drawing is actually on the back of my progress report for my English 10 class, and by the way my grade was an A- at that time. split_wallpaper.jpgSplit Natures (wallpaper)2455 viewsThis is a relatively straightforward edit to existing artwork that you can find on Nintendo Power magazines (or so i'm told. i dunno, i got it from zeldalegends). the tricky bit was trying to change the pic's proportions without distorting the subjects. i tried at some length to displace the bottom and top to the sides, but once i did so i realized that it didn't work out as a background.
so i scrapped it and went for the rule-of-thirds appoach you see here, twisting the existing side material backwards so as to give the user some space to put their desktop icons. i also tried to apply the sexy new logo, but i really didn't work colorwise. so i just stuck the name over to the right, mirroring the now-classic Unreal Tournament backgrounds.
So the root subject is not mine, i don't take credit for it, but getting it to work as a background was my effort.Koroks Rock

a good reason, too: the castle was put in by paint, and took about 10-20 minutes, and
doing that for 66 separate frames would be..... stupid.
once i completed this, i was about to upload it, and realized it went too fast. so, i made a new frame to stick in between every frame i had, and now it's slow. and now it looks good. I had a lot of problems making this. maybe a third of the pictures had the wrong ground covering, and i had to redo them. and then i hit some naming problems, which were the result of, and resulted in, renaming each frame 2-3 times, and converting each and every one to a jpeg. believe me, renaming 66 frames that many times is NOT FUN!!! but music helps. i spent a lot of that time listening to dte's "beat of the dragon," thanks a lot for making it, it saved my life.
ok, enough complaining. i personally like the sunlight on water and the sunbeams in the air. COMMENT!!the_ocarina_of_time
